Your first charger. The right questions.

A clear shortlist starts with clear information. Use these questions when reviewing a charger listing.

01

Start with your vehicle

Keep the exact model, model year and regional variant to hand. Ask for evidence that the equipment supports your vehicle rather than relying on a connector photograph.

  • Write down make, model, model year and import region if known.
  • Inspect the charging inlet and note the connector family.
  • Ask how the seller knows the listing matches that variant.
02

Know what the offer includes

Check the cable, mounting equipment, warranty terms, seller identity and any exclusions. Ask whether installation is included or arranged separately.

03

Keep the paperwork

Keep a copy of the product specifications, seller terms and your installation assessment. A good buying decision should be easy to explain and document.

Before you buy

  • Vehicle identity and inlet are written down.
  • Connector family and stated power rating are visible in the listing.
  • Included accessories and warranty terms are clear.
  • Installation is treated as a separate professional conversation.
